The Bangor Region Development Alliance is a public-private partnership offering site location services to businesses and industry interested in the Bangor Region. Its members consist of area communities, non-profit organizations, and business leaders, all speaking with one voice.  BRDA helps site-selectors and prospective businesses establish key relationships, coordinate visits, and keep projects on schedule.

BRDA is focused on attracting business to the immediate area.  BRDA’s marketing activities include an effort to attract investment and development from the Canadian provinces and Europe, participation in trade shows for targeted business sectors, and hosting visits from prominent consultants who help companies identify suitable relocation and expansion sites.

• Population, production, labor, wages, income, retail sales, taxes, transportation, utilities, and government permits.

• Site location assistance – up-to-date listing of available commercial and industrial buildings and land.

Consulting Services

• Data analysis – analysis and interpretation of regional data.

• Site analysis – interpreting the local, state, and federal issues associated with potential sites, and identifying the best alternatives.

• Financial assistance – counseling on local, state, and regional financing programs, and assistance accessing applicable state and federal lending and incentive programs.

• Training assistance – facilitating contacts with state training programs and local training providers to meet industry-specific needs.

• Government and Business Liaison – advice and assistance negotiating with federal, state, and local officials, as well as business relationships with bankers, accountants, and attorneys. We assist in locating highly qualified service providers.
